Unusually graphic violence for a children's cartoon, mostly due to it being made in North Korea.
Every episode has a scene of violence in it. Most of the onscreen violence is bloody and disturbing. Native Americans and European settlers fight each other frequently where characters are impaled, shot, slashed, beaten, and clubbed to death. The aftermath of these battles are occassionally shown.
A group of magical animals are able to shoot lasers from their eyes to fight other magic users. They sometimes scratch other characters, resulting in bloody injury detail.

The violence in the series is a little too graphic despite the Saturday morning cartoon style, especially when compared to other kids shows from the time.
In one episode, Native men have their nipples tied to a maypole and are forced to dance around, causing their nipples to bleed. Very graphic and disturbing.
