Love, love love this show! Of course I'm teary eyed after every episode. It's so refreshing to see such good people putting animals well being first & not turning them away. Being a widow, I wish there were more single men like Dr Jeff & too bad he's married. It's amazing to see how the staff interacts with all the animals, I feel like I'm right there with them. You see so many different animals & what goes on between all of the staff & how they handle the unique situations. Dr Jeff is so dedicated to the animals by putting them first & going out of his way to the different areas away from his town to treat them & doing what has to be done for the health of the animals. Such a dedicated doctor with a heart of gold. If I miss a series, I make sure I watch it On Demand. I am so happy that I found this show & will continue to watch it. I've spread the word around here & know others will be watching. Thanks to Dr Jeff & all his wonderful staff for all the love & kindness they give to our furry friends.
With all the cynicism and pessimism in today's world, it is so uplifting to see this show and watch love in action. There is nothing more comforting than to see people who love animals and show it. You can plainly see that Dr. Jeff and his staff truly care and show such kindness and affection to their clients and their loved ones. Even better, they extend that care to folks who can't afford the prices charged by their own vets. And by the way, to the reviewer who objected to their requirement re: spay/neuter...guess what? That is the responsible thing to do. Nothing is more sickening than macho men who won't get their male pets neutered because of their own misguided belief that it deprives them of something. Or the people who think it teaches their kids about life by letting their pets breed so they can observe the "miracle of birth," Irresponsible. Bravo Dr. Jeff!
I love that they make pet parents spay or neuter their animals when being treated. The other review that complained about a shot being twice the price does not seem to understand the concept of an office visit. If you just want shots, you still have to pay an office visit fee! That feeling doesn't sound unreasonable to me. I wish he would move to the north Atlanta area!!
Dr. Jeff and his staff are caring, kind-hearted miracle workers - that aren't out to fleece pet owners! They love and care for all animals that cross their paths, with the animals being their top priority (instead of what the owners think needs to be done). I would love to clone him and his staff and have them move to SC! We have no vet that is more concerned about providing excellent care to animals than getting as much money as possible. As everyone knows, pet owners with limited funds limit trips to the vet as much as possible. When faced with astronomical pet expenses to get them better, some people are left with either none or very limited choices. Dr. Jeff knows this and cuts his profit (does he make any?) so the pets get the best care at the best price! I am amazed at the surgery, the care, the love and how they all go above and beyond what is expected! Every show teaches me more things about animals! Dr. Jeff (and staff) - if you ever want to leave that gorgeous scenery and move south, you'll be welcomed by open arms! Open another office maybe? Just hoping!
I love dr. Jeff and his crew. I wished he were in NJ. I watch his show each day as well dr. Pol. I would use dr. Jeff without any hesitation. Unfortunately I can not say the same dr. Pol. I was petrified when dr. Pol cleaned an animal butt and next poked his fingers into the same animals eyes. No gloves. Please save our pets from dr. Pol. I like his crew though.
Dr. Jeff and his clinic show a great example for other vets in NJ, who unfortunately are far from dr. Jeff standard of care.
