Andrea has so many different facial expressions and body movements that make the character believable. I think this is what makes her such a strong character on Kim's Convenience. I love that she wrote this and spends so much time behind the scenes on Kim's Convenience learning everything she can about the film industry and putting all the pieces together. Keep up the great work Andrea!

A bittersweet short film
cyusufmumtaz9 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This was well written and directed. There are subtle hints about the "friend" that joins on the playdate until all is revealed at the end. Like most well-written short stories, you're left wanting more and haunted. What does Fran mean when she replies "I hope so" when asked if she'll be here next year? What happened to the real Bart? Does this resolve her regret or could this be the start of a downward spiral for Fran?
Andrea Bang also wrote the script and I am impressed by her writing. I hope to also see her new short, "Lucy Dies."
