- Hildegard wants Werner to resign now. Michael has an eye to Poppy. Beatrice plays Hermann's game. Sebastian and Julia seek voluntary work. He and Luisa miss each other on the pier. Hermann reads a death notice and needs air. Nils drums.
- Werner told Hildegard that he did lose the original quotation and just asked the architect a new one. Poppy thinks there might be enough money for the festival and the playground. Hildegard makes her clear Werner should tell the truth. Poppy tells Werner he should inform the municipal council what the facts are. But Werner reacts mad. After a word with André he decides to have a talk with Hildegard but Hildegard recognizes he just came to butter her up. Tina and Poppy have a night out. Michael arrives and starts to dance with Poppy. A young men invites Tina to a dance. During a romantic song Michael and Poppy dance arm in arm. Tina means Michael has an eye to Poppy. Poppy is prepared to polish Werner's mayor chain. Werner gives the council documents about the festival and the playground. Hildegard says she thinks the quotation has been manipulated and antedated. Werner says she is old and maybe confuses things. Hildegard calls architect Neugebauer and asks him after his deal with the mayor. Poppy asks Michael if he has an eye to her and he admits he likes her a lot. Hildegard shows Werner a copy of the original quotation with Werner's underwriting. Werner admits his swindle and is prepared to inform the council but Hildegard wants him to resign today. Michael cheers Luisa up after she did lose her mother. Sebastian still seeks her. He asks Charlotte for voluntary work; he wants to work with children. Charlotte sees what she can do for him. Sebastian decides to go to the lake; maybe he finds the fiddler there. He waits there on the pier but finally leaves when André needs him in the restaurant. Luisa appears on the pier but Sebastian is gone. Nils tells Michael that Norman still doesn't know he is his father. Tina has enough of Norman's loud drumming. Julia asks Michael for voluntary work in the hospital. Nils plays on Norman's drums. Beatrice talks with Charlotte about Hermann. Charlotte helps her with the outfit for her date with him. The night out of Beatrice and Hermann ends in a kiss. She invites him to breakfast in the restaurant tomorrow, and disappears in her suite alone. During their breakfast Hermann reads the death notice of Marta Reisiger and goes outside to snap some air.—B. Dijkhoff
