The fight against international terrorism has a new weapon in Helfi Kardit's Ten: The Secret Mission. Or, rather, it has ten of them in the form of the ten models recruited by a secret government organization to become an anti-terror strike force, presumably because while terrorists may be able to spot burly men with guns from a mile away they'll be otherwise distracted by this particular team. We ran the first teaser for Kardit's film back in November, noting then the high production values and impressively staged action. We first came across Indonesian director Helfi Kardit back in early 2014 with the arrival of the hyperkinetic teaser for his action film Guardian. And the director looks to build upon the audience for that film with the upcoming Ten: The Secret Mission.As you may have surmised from the film's title and the headline up above, yes, there are ten agents in play here, all of them high fashion models. Why, exactly, employing models on this particular mission would be advantageous is a complete and utter mystery to me based on the trailer but the marketing angle is clear: Bikinis + bullets = bums in seats.There are less bikinis than you might think, actually, with the level of action seeming to rise with the level...
