Absolutely the best episode of s2 (slightly better than escape from LA imo). It was hilarious and emotional and had an insane ending. So satisfying, sad and funny to watch: what more can you ask for a bojack episode?

My favourite episode of season 2.

This episode is definitely beaten by the penultimate episode of this season "escape from La" but i just love this episode so much more. It'a sooo funny and entertaining. The name "Hollywoo Stars and Celebrities: What do they know? Do they know things? Let's find out!" Is still hilarious to me after 11 watches of this show. But scene where Bojack and mr Peanutbutter "get real" is also one of the best parts of this episode. "Let's find out!" Is the perfect mix of humour and emotion. Great episode.

Yeah I enjoyed this episode more and more as it went along! It was funny, tense, crazy, emotional.. and yeah.. just well made!

The whole episode centers around this live quiz-show and there is a lot happening compared to what I first expected!

The way BoJack tackles the humiliation makes perfect sense! Of course he wouldn't just lay back and take it all! It all mounts to an emotional confrontation and I almost felt sad for BoJack, despite his flaws!

Radcliffe really steals it as a guest apperance! He really brings a great vibe and atmosphere to it all with some hillarious dynamics with BoJack!

The end was so insane that I had to go back and watch it again!

Let's Hear It for the Boy

Bojack agrees to go on Peanutbutter's quiz show. He is humiliated, being asked insane questions, not general knowledge. It eventually gets personal when each of them tells the other off on the air. By the way, what great move to have J. D. Salinger as a regular character and produce the show. Where do we go from here?

Best episode of season 1& 2. The jokes are hilarious.

The way this episode shows us TV's backstage is incredible. Animation was awsome too. I didn't expect this.

Strong Bojack and Mr Peanutbutter episode
snoozejonc7 February 2024
This is an enjoyable episode with good character moments.

I think the concept and situation presented in this one works very well, particularly for the relationship portrayed between the lead characters and the behind the scenes satire of such trash television as games shows and celebrity focussed programming. There are lots of good reflective moments about Bojack's behaviour and the humour is fairly consistent depending on how much you appreciate it. I like the running joke about the difficulty of his questions and the use of Daniel Radcliffe's cameo.

All that being said I personally think it is somewhat overrated. This has very much to do with my own taste in humour. Although I find it consistently makes me smile, there are no big involuntary laughs for me. I appreciate that comedy is in the eye of the beholder and other might love it.
