Fun Shark Documentary
Bride of Jaws (2015)
*** (out of 4)
Another winning documentary that original aired on the Discovery Channel's Shark Week. This here has researchers trying to track down the gigantic shark that became a media sensation and became known as Joan of Shark. The group searching for her include two people who survived shark attacks and they hit the Australian waters trying to find what might be the largest female Great White shark.
If you're a fan of sharks then you'll certainly be happy with this documentary as it has a fairly interesting adventure and there's no doubt that there's some terrific shark footage. In fact, I'd say the researchers here crossed the line in what they were willing to do in trying to get their footage. You'll see what I mean when you watch the film but a couple of the researchers really put themselves in harm way including one guy willing to get in a small kayak with a giant Great White right under him. There's plenty of great footage taken under the water that gives you a terrific view of the sharks. Even better is a nice point of view shot after a camera is placed on one of the sharks.
