The plot description referring this as a "macabre tale", combined with the solemn music playing in the background almost made me expect this short to be something much darker than it actually was.
Is just a silly gag stop motion short. There is a little black comedy element, but this still is pretty much a G-rated work.
Without being particularly great or life-changing, at least made me chuckle, especially at the little bunny clapping at the end.
Not much else can be said about this extremely brief short by the National Film Board of Canada, but I think it was fun.
At least it goes quickly to the point without wasting too much time.
