This film centers around a group of youths who discover the devastating past of their hometown Mars Bluff, SC. In 1958 an atomic bomb was accidentally drop on Mars Bluff, SC by the Air Force. There were no casualties; however, six were injured and several families were displaced from their homes due to the belief of contamination from the blast.
The crater can still be found in Mars Bluff.
The remains of the bomb can be found in the Florence County Museum.
