There is so much in this episode. One could do a synopsis. Pius continues on a course to find out who his parents were. He is having doubts about his success as Pope and is actually considering resigning. In all of this, we begin to get a touch of his humanity. First of all, he is taking on a bonding role with the new born sort of immaculate conception. Secondly, he has this thing about who his parents are and that half-pipe (no snowboarding) that he carries with him. There is the meeting with people who claim to be his parents. There are other incidents of temptation and an attempted rape. Then there is the trip to Honduras. A devastating result. We have the Pope telling Spencer about his doubts and making him drool, actually practicing addressing the masses in Vatican Square.
