The Lion exists. Yay!

Warning: Spoilers
Spoilers. Observations. Opinions.

I was wondering where the lion was. Is he cowardly? Is he Eamonn, the faithful right hand soldier of the Wizard of Oz? Did this lion kill Tip/Ozma's parents? Is this just her flashback? Eamonn looks at a huge Lion's head/costume in his old trunk. Is he going to battle again, dressed in this getup?

West stares at her forearm, slitting herself psychologically and with a magic spell. CGI blood flows big time. She is really depressed. Looks like Glinda has put her in prison. West writhes around, then lies on the floor looking expired. Along comes Tip, in her shaggy peasant shoes and ragged dress.

Does Tip save her life, or bring her back to life? You can't kill a witch, you know. Is Tip now a witch, or was she before? Looks like she came back from extinction, also. You can't kill a witch. I repeat. Tip is royalty, heir to the throne of the kingdom. Maybe she will give the Cowardly Wizard a what-for, plus forty lashes to that sniveling lion.

Glinda is a knucklehead. She is engaged in carnal canoodling with her husband, Roan/Lucas, believe it or not. Glinda is jealous of Dorothy, telling Roan to off her or Glinda will do it herself. Let's see a great cat fight between Glinda and Dorothy. Dorothy is a real scrapper, but let's see if Glinda really has magic on her side.

Research says the actor who plays Lucas was Mrs. Selfridge's boyfriend in the Mr. Selfridge series. Hey-hey-hey. That boy Lucas/Roan really gets around. First Mrs. Selfridge, then Glinda, then Dorothy, then Glinda. Who's next?

The wizard is still a whiny bedazzler. He has to go to the Kingdom of Ev for some huuuuuge rifles. Can't he have his own firearms made? Does he have enough money for all of this firepower? Maybe he can't afford it.

Meanwhile, Lady Ev/Langwidere has broken up with Jack. Seems she has relinquished her ownership. Poor Jack. Has a fake heart, and other fake parts. Instead of food, he has to get the parts oiled. He walks away from the castle, but runs straight in to a phalanx of tough looking soldiers.

What's up with all of the baby witches? Er, witchlings. Are they hatched? Are they born or delivered? Is their mama Mother South? Who is their father? I know! Maybe it's Roan/Lucas. Ugh.

These witchlings look like elementary school age up to teenagers. Their new roomie is Sylvie. They snicker at her in the school cafeteria, like she is a newbie they can't stand. Her cereal gets magically moved to their place setting, then gets turned to mud or stone -- I couldn't tell which. Sylvie gets tired of this whole mess, and commands all the cereal bowls in the entire room to come to right in front of her. Sylvie: have some class. Is this really gruel? Demand something better. Complain to Roan. You are not Oliver in that old movie. Make them give you a steak dinner.

The young witches are burned out; used up. Some are dangling in the air. One is passed out in a side grotto. What made them so tired? Is this same fate still in store for our Sylvie? It all looks very boring.

The coolest scene I saw was when Dorothy's gold/ruby glove/gauntlets appear on her hands. She has used some powers to hang sheet-noose-clad Glinda from a tree, then throws Glinda down with a thud. Score one for Dorothy. This is not the pink-bubble Glinda/Good Witch of the North from the 1939 MGM film. This Dorothy and Glinda may be cat-fighters to the death. All over a man. Whatever. Pass the popcorn.

Didn't notice dear Toto this time. Maybe he was out, making a dog food commercial while waiting for his big break to be the new Rin-Tin-Tin, lol. Oh, I guess I saw him leaving with Dorothy near the end of this episode, but IMO that's not enough screen time for our favorite doggie.
