At Angels Memorial Hospital, Dr. Neal Hudson must constantly question the decency of extreme methods used by obsessive training program chief Leanne Rorish, who is trusted and protected by the chief of staff, and cleans up her insensitive messes in patient report. Luckily for the staff, nursing chief Jesse Sallander manages to translate and explain explicit ad implicit instructions. Angus Leighton excels technically, but seriously lacks confidence, while Malaya Pineda's cocky attitude needs reining in, but they make a fine team, while composed Mario Savetti simply does well. Late calling Christa Lorenson is expelled for blatantly ignoring instructions, yet redeems herself by spotting a fatal risk just in time, and discovers a motivational bond with Rorish.
