One Of The Best Episodes
slightlymad2226 January 2017
Plot In A Paragraph: Kara (Mellisa Benoist) struggles with learning the truth about her mother, whilst also helping her boss Cat Grant (Calsita Flockhart) whose emails have being hacked to undermine her position at the company.

This is one of the better episodes, as it is clearly leading to a bigger picture, in fact I'd say it may be THE BEST episode, as it dealt with several plot lines rather than Supergirl just battling a villain of the week.

After last week featuring her less, we get bore Calista Flockhart in this episode, which is great, as I love her. She is the best thing in the show. Benoist ups her game, and gives her best performance of the series, as the struggling Kara. I think I've said that the last three episodes in a row!!

Somebody figures out Kara's secret, and we also get another cliffhanger too!! And for the first time, I wanted to watch the next episode straight away.

All in all one of the better (if not the best) episodes. Hopefully a sign of things to come!!

curious change of pace

Warning: Spoilers
episode summary: Cat Grant deals with a backstabbing board while super girl deals with every changing family issues.

The review is full of *spoilers****!!!! Astra, Kara's aunt, now has a white strip in her hair, a nice change and she now no longer evil-ish but now she's more sympathetic and more unwilling to hurt supergirl. They are revealing that maybe there were some lies in the house of El and supergirl has to emotionally deal with it.

There is a curious amount of various aliens and kryptonians in the show and it's funny how they decide to handle fighting them....and that's not calling superman.

Curiously enough, the show does something I wish more shows did which was treat characters more intelligently. Super-girl has no costume. just glasses like her cousin, but but the idea that people close to her/him wouldn't be able to figure out their hero antics, is just silly. So it was a welcomed change of pace where the show takes a different turn. Much like Batman year one and Gordon realizes who batman is but does nothing. He's a detective, of course he should know who Batman is.

Good Story Plots and Chris Vance
techsupport-8016815 December 2015
This TV series is like a movie... with lots of good actors and actresses, including famous TV transporter actor Chris Vance, sexy indeed. It is fun to watch and pretty exciting as well. The costume design is very good too. This is like watching super hero movies on TV. Highly recommended!

However, I remembered James Osen was kinda nerdy in superman movies....I do wish the plot will be supergal to fall in love with that nerdy tech guy and her sister will be in love with Max. played by Peter Facinelli Peter Facinelli ... anyhoo...over all, I would give it a 10 star rating since its computer effect is quite flawless with lots of good actors and actresses.

MELISSA BENOIST!!

I don't think people talk about that scene where Kara is yelling at and breaking down in front of the hologram of her mother. The acting...fantastic. That scene brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it.

Krypton

Warning: Spoilers
The part with Kara and her relationship with Astra was emotionnal. Astra is a good character. Her battle with Kara was great. Thrn the part with the one who tried to steal catco from cat grant was not interesting but we've seen here something here that we don't see often in these types of tv shows, real life problems. This épisode showed that Kara was doing two things at the same time, trying to save cat grant job and trying to fight her emotions regarding Astra and the memories of krypton, besides she learns that her mother was the cause of the end of krypton. The ending is one of the best cliffhangers that I have seen in an episode of a tv show in the arrow verse. Firstly, cat grant understood that Kara was supergirl then Zon and the prisoners killed a lot of employee of Max Lord Tech. When max lord shoot something in the face of one of the prisoners it was fantastic. When agents of the d. I.o fought against Zon and the Aliens it was great. Martian manhunter get ripped of one of them Kara fought against Zon at the end.
