Well Worth the time if you are a Music lover

Music documentary using Lenny Kravitz's 2014 European tour with interview segments spliced in of Lenny Kravitz and his band that find the musicians sharing their thoughts and views.

Lenny explains he is a solo artist with an incredible band of talented musicians that make music. Lenny and his band members also explain it takes a synergy of effort by the band to "let go" as a whole to have the music ring true to the audience during their live shows.

Emphasis on the studio being their home or creative nest versus live on the road. Band so well meshed that during performances individuals improvise music to make each show unique.

With the focus of the documentary on the band and the tour I can see where they did not have more time to get into details about the past other than tidbits during interviews. I loved how each band member had their chance to shine and I want to know more about them as well as Lenny and how they developed into the artists they have become.

Visual quality goes from Super HD to grainy for some of the interviews. Most of the performances are in HD but there were a few times when it was fuzzy but the music was still clear during performances.

Sound quality was usually clear for interviews but there were a few times during some interviews when the sound level was low but still audible.

The Band: Lenny Kravitz Craig Ross Gail Ann Dorsey Cindy Blackman Santana - Drummer George Laks Harold Todd Ludovic Louis Michael Sherman Erika Jerry Yahzarah St. James Jessica Wagner-Cowan

Songs performed: Fly Away, Dirty White Boots, American Woman, Dancin' Til Dawn, Strut, It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over, New York City, The Chamber, Sister, Dig In, Let Love Rule, and Are You Gonna Go My Way

Blurry piece of pretentious crap

Wow this was awful. And I like Lenny Kravitz's music. The video is so grainy and blurry it's unbearable. Like everyone else I have a nice flat screen TV and HD video feed and to fill it with horribly shot grainy video, knowing the video was shot on grainy video on purpose, is just nauseating. So pointless. In sum, this is a droning alternation of blurry concert footage and blurry pretentious talk about how great and scary talented each of the band members are. Yet, in spite of all the talk about how great the band members are, we learn that each and every one of them is forbidden from playing a single note on any recording. How does that make any sense? We also learn that Lenny Kravitz is such a perfectionist he requires that the band actually rehearse together before they play live. Inciteful! The only thing they could have done to make it more pretentious would be to shoot in blurry black and white instead of blurry color.
