The filming took place where the director grew up as a child, on Packard Farms in Clare, Michigan.
The entire movie was shot with one camera, a Sony a7s.
During production, director Glenn Douglas Packard forbid cast members from meeting or interacting with Pitchfork (Daniel Wilkinson) until their death scenes were shot. Only one exception was made in the case of Hunter (Brian Raetz), whom met with Wilkinson to discuss their characters' backstories and implied history prior to filming.
Carol Ludwick and Lindsey Dresbach's debut.
