The film was initially meant to be broadcast in France on October 19th, 2017, but this was delayed at the last minute by channel France 3 who chose to air the film Pièce montée (2010) instead, in honor of actress Danielle Darrieux, who had passed away two days earlier. The film was then set for a debut on December 7th of that year, but unfortunately writer and very occasional actor Jean d'Ormesson passed away two days before that so France 3 again chose to delay the film at the last minute, replacing it with Haute Cuisine (2012). The film finally aired on July 19th, 2019, this time unhampered by a celebrity death, nearly three years after filming and over two years after winning three awards at a prestigious TV festival.
