The pilot score by Alex North resides donated to the UCLA Music Library collection. An old Billboard magazine article reported North was paid $2,500 for the theme.

George Voskovec, part of he cast in this pilot, had a regular role in the William Conrad Nero Wolfe series from 1981. He played Fritz, Wolfe's chef.
