Predictable storyline
WYAdams7 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Ho-hum, another predictable story line. How many of you couldn't predict what was going to happen? The boxes didn't give it away for you? Really!

1) Tony's ancestor turns out to be something less than he expected, making him look like a fool, again. Again, so predictable that it is hackneyed. Please stop the foolishness with Tony, he was a successful police detective before he came to NCIS, not some bumbling circus clown. At least they stopped those unprofessional, and criminal head slaps Gibbs used to give him.

2) Ellie goes into the house alone, a breach of rules and, of course, forgets her phone. By the way, why didn't Gibb's reprimand her, write her up, and put it her service record?

3) The bad guy appears and proceeds to beat the crap out of her, luckily the scissors are handy, and she just happens to remember them while being strangled to death. Oh, and what a coincidence, he throws her down right next to them, so that they are in easy reach. Wow, I didn't see that coming! (sarcasm)

Speaking of fights. Why do villains, once they have death grips on their victims, always insist on throwing them some distance away, and then go after them, giving them the chance to run away or pick up weapons? It is such a tired old plot line that it has become silly.

As much as I like NCIS, I think it is winding down. The writers are not fresh and creative, they are mailing in their scripts. They need to get fresh, new, creative writers and directors or put the show out of its misery and end it.
