Ned furiously walks out on Bea and patient Finn, but they later make up while he punches the boxing ball. After consulting Karl about switching to neuro-psychiatry, David gets Finn to agree to be his test subject in lieu of court-ordered sessions. Aaron isn't amused, especially as he wasn't consulted in advance, but after surprisingly wise advise from Kyle the spouses agree to make up in bed after promises to think more about both of them, as concerning off-track Leo. Toadie rejects Susan's offer to help with the kids, but her remark he'll need family support makes him rescind Shane's marching orders, luckily as he could only afford a dump. Karl asks Fin to help gardening, and accepts his suggestion to distribute the surplus apricots to neighbors, as a friendly way to present himself, but after a few all but warm welcomes they just leave the packets at the doors. To her horror, Susan finds a razor blade in an apricot.
