Just before shooting Dot's armed companion through the car park railings, Kate is shown running down the street holding her weapon across the front of her body with both hands. The shot then cuts to a different angle showing Kate entering the car park, where she is now carrying her weapon in a lowered position with her right hand only.
A key plot point of this episode and in fact the series is a list of names obtained Danny Waldren before his death. However the list was only obtain via Danny torturing a man. Evidence obtained via torture, even if the torture isn't committed by a state, is illegal in the UK and inadmissible in UK courts. Any convictions that relied on that list as a source of inquiry, would be unsound.
The show is set in a The Midlands of England but several scenes make it clear filming takes place in Belfast, Northern Ireland:
- Steve catches a taxi from Derby Cabs based in 1 Lagmore Rd, Belfast BT17 0NT.
- The CastleCourt shopping centre in central Belfast is also visible when Kate rides on the lorry.
Dot's frame up of Steve doesn't make much sense. He supposedly requested that the contents of the envelope be sequestered because of concerns about a fellow AC-12 officer. But at the time that Dot found the envelope there was no reason to suspect that the Caddy was still alive, let alone that he might be Steve. So there would be no reason for them to sequester the evidence.
