The Unseen Deposition Of O.J. Simpson
a_baron9 October 2015
After the acquittal in the most sensational celebrity double murder trial of the Twentieth Century came the civil trial. OJ Simpson may have been the luckiest defendant in history, but there was some justice thanks to the efforts of the Goldman family. This documentary is exactly what it says it is. As well as an overview of the eleven day video deposition Simpson was forced to give, there is some background information, footage of the criminal trial, and contributions from those close to the case, in particular Fred Goldman, whose dogged pursuit of this cold-blooded killer would lead to him eventually imploding in spectacular fashion by setting up an armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel to retrieve sports memorabilia which he claimed had been stolen from him.

As Goldman points out, Simpson's defining characteristic is his arrogance; that arrogance shines through in this deposition, although he didn't look quite so arrogant when finally justice caught up with him.
