The cast and crew of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964) relate how the immense back lots and specialized equipment of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film studio were used to enhance the production values of this groundbreaking TV series. Film historians and crew members also discuss how the use of movie filming techniques distinguished the series from earlier television productions. The directors and cinematographers were encouraged to experiment, yet they were under tremendous time pressure: each hour-long episode had to be finished within 6 days.
