Terror Films has just moved twenty-two horror films to the Steam platform. This horror film distributor hopes to broaden its viewership on these platforms. A number of films are already available, including: supernatural frightener The Dark Stranger, the slasher Talon Falls, the documentary Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary and many more. All of these films are available now, throughout Canada and the United States. A full line-up is hosted here. Steam already has over 150 million registered users. They often have over 18 million concurrent users on a near daily basis. Joe Dain, of Terror Films says of the move: "we believe our films are interesting, entertaining and diverse enough to gain the attention of Steam’s massive user base." Kino Lorber has restored George Pavlou's Rawhead Rex (based on Clive Barker's short story of the same name) in 4K quality and the Hexploitation Film Festival will screen the newly remastered film for one night only this Friday, August 25th. I Know You're in There is out today. Released by Terror Films, this title involves a family tragedy and one man's reunion with a long lost sister. This title stars: Will Hurst, Mindee de Lacey and Karin Lee. Directed by Robert Lawson Gordon, the film's official artwork and trailer are available here. The trailer shows more story details. Tom (Hurst) finds his sister, Chloe (McDermott). She is catatonic, or is she? Chloe begins to show signs of consciousness. But, she may be possessed by a supernatural evil. Three Horror Tales from Terror Films in August: Interior, I Know You're in There and The Documentary
Terror Films will release three films throughout the month of August. The films are: Interior, I Know You're in There and The Documentary. Interior is a haunted house thriller, which will release this August 15th, through Video-on-demand. The film, from director Zachary Beckler, is a multi-award winner. Early stills from all three films are hosted here. The first still for Interior (above) shows a man and a shadow. He is there to document strange phenomena, inside a mysterious home. Armed only with a camera, he must confront the terrors within. As well, stills for I Know You're in There show a wheelchair bound young woman. In this film, a man discovers the existence of a long lost sister. He discovers her after the suicide of his mother. Together, they discover a supernatural evil. This film, which releases on August 18th, is from director Robert Lawson Gordon. Finally, The Documentary will release this August 22nd.
