Andrew Davies did a fantastic job in adapting Jane Austen's classic novel to the small screen. The mini-series comprised of about 6 episodes or 6 hours on television. Colin Firth was the perfect actor to play Mr. Darcy. The entire cast was first rate with Benjamin Whitrow and Alison Steadman as the Bennet parents. Jennifer Ehle was perfect to play Elizabeth Bennet. The art direction was first rate with costumes, scenery and detailed life in Georgian England. This documentary covers about how the mini-series changed television.
