My overall rating of "Happy Valley"'s Season 2: 5/10
This episode has some great, exciting and logical plot-progression, as well as awesome character development and fantastic acting. However it also has a few weaker points where it drags: such as the entire scene of Catherine's spat with Joyce (?) with its bad camerawork of Joyce being out of the shot for half a minute and its strange red herring of the husband's blindness/broken taillight; or with John's overdone flashback stupor during the post-mortem (where the pathologist lady bizarrely discounts the idea that a foreign woman/prostitute could possibly have British dental work - whatever the hell its difference from Eastern European one in the first place).
