It's a bad short film (10 minutes) extended by long empty pauses and some bad writing into 90 minutes.

Like the famous maze of twisting corridors built by Daedalus, this one pulls at the knot in every human heart!

If you're looking for lighter fare, kittens and butterflies, or fairy tale romance you can skip it. Mire is not a "popcorn" movie, or escapist fare. We're talking Gone Girl without the body count, only a lot more truthful. A cautionary tale about the lies by which we are enslaved. Rent it if you have ever loved or lost. Watch it if you intend to hold-on to those closest to you. It pulls at the knot in Ariadne's Thread. It will untie the knot in your own heart, if you watch with eyes open. Don't miss the soul of this film. Superbly drawn. Impeccably honest. Not since Schindler's List have I wept so bitterly.
