Boy i'm glad they're back, plus 2 babies and a dog!

Warning: Spoilers
When we last saw Rob and Sharon they were on their wedding night, all did not go well, until her waters broke...

....Fast forward a bit, the couple have a son, dog Mable, and a new born daughter as well. The couple still argue, and Rob is still employed by the dodgy pharmaceuticals company. Rob's mother is finally in the UK, and causing mayhem, she and Sharon finally clash. Mable meets with a tragic accident.

I was so glad to see this back for a second series so quickly after the first. They've managed to maintain the extremely high level the first series had. The couple still seem so awkward together at times, and so lovable again at others.

It's still physically hilarious, Rob is very watchable. Dad's speech was hilarious, who is Bridget?

That immortal line 'Sorry I called your mother a haemorrhoid.'

It's just hilarious, I love you Channel 4!!

Terrible cliché and writing

Warning: Spoilers
Introducing a pet dog and then killing it off is not only disgusting but an example of terrible writing.

The fact that none of the characters appears to care that their pet has been run over makes them utterly detestable people and really changes them.

I enjoyed the first series, and worried that the new dog would just be a cheap way to sadden the episode. I've seen way too many films and TV shows already which try to formulaically introduce some emotion into a comedy by killing a beloved animal. Writers should note that this never works and almost invariably exposes you as a bad writer who thinks clichés are the way to appeal to your viewers.

Disappointing to say the least.
