Did You Know?

Cole Guthrie: Are you and I gonna be friends?
Dr. Leanne Rorish: We're colleagues.
Cole Guthrie: I offended you, when I asked you out.
Dr. Leanne Rorish: I'm just curious as to. why
Cole Guthrie: Why I asked you out?
Dr. Leanne Rorish: What made you think I'd say yes?
Cole Guthrie: Well, you don't ask some-one out because you think they'll say yes. You ask some-one out because you are interested.
Dr. Leanne Rorish: And... Why are you interested?
Cole Guthrie: It's been a long time since you felt some-one look at you, isn't it?
Dr. Leanne Rorish: Stop!

Episode 9
29 March 2018 | by froggie101See all my reviews

Episode 9 - no spoilers, but turn off the phones, computers, and tablets. Put the "Gone Fishing" sign in the front window and do not forget the tissues when you sit down and watch. I usually give new shows a season to get my interest - to make a story that thoroughly engrossed me - but Code Black had me by episode 3 of the first season.

This episode is likely one of the most powerful of the series. This episode is likely the single most emotional of the first season. I was glued.

The moments between Jesse and Leanne were so emotional. I love their friendship so much and I am so invested in Leanne's story. She is so strong and beautiful. My heart aches for her and my heart is so heavy watching her go through this on her own...or so she thinks she is.

You don't want to miss this episode. I promise.
