This episode begins in a grocery store, a boy is eating candies and his feets are bleeding. Red knows more about the case, Lady Ambrosia is behind kid dissaperences and is the new name on The Blacklist. We see Lady Ambrosia with a group of children. Gina shot down her entire team but Tom survived. Liz got threatened by Noah, he tries to kidnap Ethan but he didn't succeed. Lady Ambrosia uses nitrous gas on a child to offer her in a ritual. Red saved the child from Lady Ambrosia. Theo puts Ambrosia in the well, after this he also jumps inti the well. Solid episode of The Blacklist Season 3, a mysterious case this time was good to follow with.

what this series does best

Ironically is what is what it was supposed to do .... tell stories about evil.

Don't get me wrong. Love the series, have reviewed over a dozen individual episodes. Spader is astonishing. Supporting cast brilliant.

Enjoy the episodes about the cabal. Like the mystery of who Liz really is but have given up ever getting an answer from the writers. For all I know her real father could be Ronald MacDonald -- that's how confusing the Liz arc has become.

But these one-of stories, Lady Ambrosia, is where the series shines. Really amazing.

For a filler episode, it was terrific

Warning: Spoilers
For the record, I am incredibly biased. This is most certainly a filler episode, but as a proud parent of twin boys with special needs; this was one of my favorites. The scene with Red telling Theo everything deserves had my wife and I ROLLING.

There is a little advancing of the main and secondary storylines, but the main focus was definitely on this filler that served as a great message.

Oh, and the boy that picked up that pen and held onto it...if that is not our boys! It was so nice to see such a small detail that relates so well to the situation they are in be a focal point. We related to that so much.

Suspenseful and Gripping
Hitchcoc16 November 2022
As Liz works her way through her fear of pregnancy, nasty things are going on. A boy has escaped from a horrible situation and he ends up under her protection. She is a mess herself and this is hard. A woman has lost a child and decides that anyone with special needs should be put to death at the age of 12. The show explains why she thinks this and what she and her husband do. It really gets at the trusting nature of all children who witness what is going on. It has one of the most touching scenes we see in this show. As Liz tussles with her problems, Tom is off with the nastiest of the nasties. He is the next issue. Also, there is a narrative hook at the conclusion when Red get information in an envelope.

Rewatching opinion
qcscpnwkvr1 August 2022
Uhhhh-no one mentioning ...Leslie Jones? .... "C'mon, Son"!

It's great to see actors that I now know better in my rewatching of shows...!!!

But...

Have many opinions with this show now, season 3, seems it...fear to say anything except--etc,etc, etc and so on. Ridiculous!!!

...From the dialogue, storyline, plot, DIRECTING specifically!!!!....ugh - it's sooo annoying.

I'm rewatching and the re-views of things are drastically different than way back at when it started!...

Makeup department (I absolutely support strongly with most shows) is, just so, lacking on this show during this season! (so far in the rewatch opinion)

I have watched this show week to week since it's beginning but rewatching is becoming painful so far this season!

AT NO TIME NO TIME DO I FAULT JAMES SPADER, BY THE WAY! He's brilliant!
