Crossovers suck in reruns with the possible exception of when the rerun is the concluding episode. Then they are only slightly bad.
This is an emotional episode. I imagine the crossover episodes leading up to it were emotional too. Too bad I probably will never see them, at least not in a connected fashion.
The American justice system is broken. Truth and facts don't matter. It is only how you produce them and then present them. That's why I hate courtroom shows. Chicago PD is usually not a courtroom show. I had to fast forward through all the courtroom stuff. Apparently there was some pretty nifty stuff toward the end, but it's still too much for me. Truth doesn't matter. (I say that because relevant information is kept from juries all the time and that's the case in this episode. "It's too prejudicial." Yeah, that's because it is as close to absolute proof of the crime as you can get.0 The system is broken.
Instead of a 1 star because of how much I hate the premise, I gave it much more. In a world where the basic premise of a broken justice system isn't true, it's worth 10.
Hank only went slightly off the rails in this one, but he still shouldn't have been involved in the investigation and neither should have Lindsay. But cop shows break that rule all the time.
