- Throughout most of the entire episode, a baby seahorse is naked with it's male genitals exposed. Crudely drawn and not on screen for long.
- A male seahorse gives birth on a bus. Nothing explicit and is played as a joke.

- Surprisingly, there is no profanity in this episode. The whole episode, three characters speak English, and it is really brief.
- BoJack is told not to give a thumbs up while underwater, and when he does the fish people seem offended. He is shown on newspapers for putting his thumb up, and a cab driver does it to BoJack back.
- One key aspect of the plot is that BoJack is underwater and as a land. creature he has to wear an oxygen tank in order to survive. As a result, no other land creatures can speak the entire episode and underwater creatures speak an un understandable language. So there is no profanity in the entire episode.
