After the deadly attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015, the whole world heard for the first time about Molenbeek, a small municipality in Brussels. Very quickly, the inhabitants of this neighborhood watched in awe as special envoys from everywhere invaded its streets. A neighborhood where terrorists have been camouflaged in the neighborhood for years, and where the Islamic State group tries to recruit unemployed youth to join the jihad. Beyond the stereotypes distilled by the international media, the inhabitants of Molenbeek have a deep and urgent need to talk about their collective reality. This documentary presents a more contrasted reality and offers an uncompromising dive into the daily life of this neighborhood of Brussels.
