Now that both Josh and Paula have found out that Rebecca is sleeping with Greg, they have to redefine their respective relationships with Rebecca, if at all. Paula in particular sees Rebecca not telling her directly about Greg being a betrayal to their friendship, especially as Paula reveals just how much behind the scenes work she did to get Rebecca together with Josh. As Rebecca is now unavailable, Josh believes he has to take the next logical step with Valencia, especially as they have been a couple for fifteen years, but he wants to do it on his own terms instead of Valencia pressuring him to ask her officially. Insecure Greg begins to overthink his relationship with Rebecca, he contemplating playing the games he usually does despite what seems to be his true feelings for her. All these relationships have the potential to come to a head at Jayma's wedding reception, the spirit of the occasion which gives each the idea to profess their true feelings to the one they love,... or think they love. Rebecca has the additional problem of not being officially invited to the wedding after the issue with Jayma's wedding dress. If she does make it to the reception, Rebecca may play out her childhood fantasy of portraying the pseudo Disney princess when she professes her love, and when her love professes the same back to her.
