The sign behind Cory's desk, " Dream Try Do Good," was part of Mr. Feeny's last piece of advice to the kids in the Boy Meets World finale.
The season 3 opening credits scenes are an updated but fairly close copy of season 5 Boy Meets World, including a dumped bucket of water, shuffling on a curb, and finishing as the main cast walks over the series title.
At the beginning of the episode, two girls open the doors and say that they'll take on high school, as Riley and Maya open them as they slam the doors in their faces, a reference to the first episode of season 2 of Boy Meets World where the same happens except that Cory and Shawn slam the doors in the faces of two males.
