So much to love about this movie. The cast. The world the style. And even some times the script. However the World building is the the true star of the show.

Warning: Spoilers
"John Wick: The Assassin's Code" is as the title already gives away a little documentary feature that runs for slightly over five minutes and elaborates a bit on the world of John Wick. This was added on the DVD for the first of now 3 films if I am not mistaken. There's interviews with the director, with Keanu Reeves and with a few others who were part of the movie, mostly of the production process. I thought it was good, very fast film with some interesting snippets of information. It ended before it got in the danger of dragging perhaps and what it had to say was worth finding out about. Also they do not only do nothing here but praise the film, but actually provide some decent insights. The director is Josh Oreck and he has worked on sooo many of these add-ons for documentaries for all kinds of blockbusters. i will not give you the names, you can check these out in his body of work if you care. But yeah he certainly brought the necessary expertise and experience. Don't pay attention to the other two older reviews. One mistook this for the actual first John Wick movie, the other is just a hopeless Reeves fanboy it seems. Anyway, back to this one here. I personally thought first Wick was very good, the second was a disappointment really, but I give this one we got here a thumbs-up. Maybe my favorite part was how things changed in terms of visual looks, but also tone and style when things get darker and we are introduced to the New York underworld. Or also how it is a somewhat hidden world. The elaborations are really insightful and they add quite a bit. Go check it out unless you really disliked the John Wick movie(s).
