This is a great episode because it's nice to see that when she is feeling lost and vulnerable that Maya is willing to lean on Shawn and the genuine emotion between the two is great especially when they both realize they've lost sight of the people they used to be. I also love that this episode brought back the Cory/Shawn handshake dance which is just as hilarious to see them do as adults as it was when they were kids. I also absolutely love Shawn's proposal to Katy Shawn:I have been reminded that you can't help but be influenced by the people and the events in your life and that can cause you to lose a part of yourself sometimes or forget who you were for a while, or what you need to be what you always wanted to be. I've been unfair to you. You don't know me you don't even know that I'm a creature of-What was it? Cory: Reckless Spontaneity. Katy: Shawn, What are you saying? Shawn:I love your daughter and I am in love with you. I want us to take care of each other for the rest of our lives. Do you wanna get married?" Katy:Yes. Just beautiful and meaningful like every other time Shawn has had an emotional monologue the impact is intense cause generally he doesn't go for the long speeches unless it's important.
