The twenty fifth anniversary of the death of Agnes's husband Redser is fast approaching. Dermot's helping Buster with a dating site application and Rory's looking for some spark for his marriage and acting on impulse. A handsome stranger approaches Agnes in the pub and asks her on a date. Kathy is worried by his intentions towards her mother and fears her motives are questionable.
Robert Bathurst proved popular in the movie, so it comes as no surprise that he popped up in the Christmas Special, he's a fine actor, and the scenes between him and Mrs Brown were absolutely hilarious. The mousetrap was an unexpected moment.
The Valentine's poems were brilliant, loved it. They were so funny. 'That's nice.' I thought this was a funnier episode then the one on Christmas day, physically funny, and some great one liners, Mrs Brown's scenes with the lustful William Hunt made it. 8/10
