Things are picking up...
lewissaddington4 January 2021
A lot happens in this episode. The show is finding ways to keep things fresh and exciting, with a few bloody moments and some well-acted drama. The dashes of humour are well placed, but the generally dark and eerie atmosphere stays strong and consistent. I'm hoping that all of the intertwining plots and character journeys end up meeting and being resolved in a satisfactory way!

Toughened her up!
kelboy1025 July 2023
The story is starting to evolve now with more sub plots as characters come into play. This episode has more depth although some things seem to happen by coincidence consider the parameters of Australia. Kevin, previously stalked Eve and gives us a surprise start to the episode. Everyone appears to be looking for Eve running parallel into the same cafe the Madonna roadhouse something, where (Deborah Mailman) Bernadette appears only to give information at a cost.

Sullivan Hill will find the stress of his job trying to solve the case turn his world upside down as he spends too much time away from home. I'm hopeful that all the subplots can intertwine in some way and lead to a satisfactory conclusion. Eve Thorogood is showing resilience as well as a hard nut to crack, she has been strong willed throughout almost as if the death of her family toughened her up. Mick Taylor seems to have plenty of competition as many are now looking for Eve.

Not a bad episode overall, still I believe it to be a little bit over the top at times. Lucy Fry and John Jarratt are definitely the highlights of the series as everyone else seems to work around them.
