- After she reconnects with an old flame at a corporate retreat, an ambitious executive realizes that taking a step back may help her make a leap forward.
- On her last day of summer at Camp Sunny Trails, Alison Sinclair (Riley Voelkel) catches her boyfriend Cody (Casey Deidrick) kissing another counselor, Simone (Bailey Borders). This makes her decision to take a summer internship in marketing that much easier the next summer. Ten years later, life is good for marketing professional Allison. She is well on her way to earning a stellar promotion all while dating equally successful co-worker Bryce (Brandon W. Jones). Her biggest rival for the position, Vanessa (Whitney Anderson), has the boss' eye, but Allison has a plan. To win the promotion, she needs to impress her boss, Nathan (C. Thomas Howell), at their annual company retreat. This year the Hillridge Marketing moved its summer retreat to a corporate Camp Viewpoint in the Catskills. Alison has a head start since she used to be a camp counselor. The only caveat, this year's trip happens to be the site of Alison's first heartbreak: her old camp. Her handsome as ever ex-boyfriend who broke that teenage heart, Cody (Casey Deidrick) now owns and operates the camp. Alison's early attempts to impress her boss fail as a result of her over efforts. But it does give her the opportunity to chat with Nathan and find some common understanding. Alison and Cody's first encounters are awkward as they accuse each other of being responsible for their breakup. Finally, Cody confesses that Simone kissed him and she caught him in a moment of shock. Alison and Cody are paired on a "blind" hike where Alison falls off a ravine but is uninjured. Bryce finds them together and suspicions are raised. That night, Cody and Alison spend time together at the campfire. After the team building, cooperation and problem-solving activities the camp offers, the final project for the marketing group is developing proposals for a marketing campaign for Camp Viewpoint. When Alison's team, including the blooming office romance of co-workers Milo (Mark Charran) and Joy (Tiffany Boone), considers what emotional ties a camper might have to the camp, it sends Alison to Cody's office where she seeks to uncover old photographs and letter from their time as counselors. Meanwhile, Cody is seriously considering selling the camp to land developers. Cody challenges Alison to a final archery contest to finally settle the championship they left hanging that last day as camp counselors together. Vanessa finds the old photographs under Alison's bed and discovers Alison and Cody's previous relationship. When the final presentations are given, Allison's team suggests changing the focus of the camp to serve both executive retreats where families are invited along and do camp activities during the day under the slogan "Not Work Life, Not Family Life, Just Life". Alison's team wins the project contest and Cody is so impressed he asks Alison to stay on and partner with him in such a project. Bryce discovers them together and fells Cody with a single punch. Alison declines and leaves for the city the next day. Back in the city, Nathan gives Alison the lead executive role on their latest marketing campaign for their newest large client. Meanwhile, Cody sets up a meeting to sell the camp to the land developers. Alison and her team develop the campaign, but her day is interrupted by the birth of the firm's attorney and Alison's best friend Laurie's (Bianca Lopez) first baby. On the day of the land sale, Dan (Dirk Blocker), the camps activity coordinator places a call to Alison to let her know of Cody's decision to sell the camp. Alison finally realizes what is in her heart and bales on the presentation of her latest marketing campaign, assuring Nathan that Joy is ready to replace her. She then drives to the camp and discovers the developers had left an hour earlier. To her surprise, however, Cody did not sell the camp, and he offers the job of marketing executive to Alison. With the new camp operating, Cody remarks to Alison he has a meeting with developers, to start remodeling the cabin he will share with his wife.
