On the set of Boondock Alley.
The team behind Boondock Alley, a new web series from Wa about a doctor's surgery for the undead, have unveiled a website that includes a full historical timeline explaining the world of the show.
The site also features a blog from the makers of Boondock Alley - actors Leon Grey, Catriona Coe and Anita Barnes, and Perth writer Richard Hyde..
Hyde has written five of a mooted ten episodes, each running around seven minutes.
Grey brought on director James Pentecost, director of Broken Contract, with whom he'd worked previously.
The first two episodes were shot at Herding Cats studios in the Perth suburb of Bassendean.
The filmmakers are looking to release the first two episodes in May/June..
They're also hoping for festival play, after which the team hopes to crowdfund the remaining episodes off the back of a (hopefully) positive reception.

Cast and crew on the set of Boondock Alley.
A new web series from Wa began when actors Leon Grey, Catriona Coe and Anita Barnes were brainstorming ideas over coffee.
Deciding to create their own work, they met with Perth writer Richard Hyde, who was adamant about one thing:
No more zombies.
He didn't quite get his wish, but Boondock Alley is an unconventional take on the genre: a series about a doctor's surgery for the undead.

"It was a hot, sticky shoot", Barnes said.
"We were shooting afternoons for night, and papering up the windows. It's a doctor's surgery for the undead so there can't be any light in the place,...
