Dylan continues to be a supremely hissable villain. It's hard to tell whether he believes his own hype or not but he's not convinced Kat, who is confronted with a devastated Leah.Nice that Leah's doubts are dealt with maturely. The attempt at giving Morag continuity references falls flat, making it sound like Ross died a lot more recently than he did.
There's a lot of boring teen pairings making up the screen time here. Josh and Evelyn are dull with a few flashes of interest.Matt and Maddy are annoying, and this time it's Maddy that does something dumb.Oscar really is starting to blossom in the uni environment, although it looks as though he's leaving Skye behind in the process.Skye and Olivia actually work quite well as friends.
Irene's storyline is still being handled badly, with none of the scenes it needs being present, but the ending suggests forward progression at last.
