- Irene tells Hunter and Olivia they don't have to clear up the house but Olivia insists on pulling her weight and Hunter eventually helps her. Roo takes James for dinner at Salt and they reminisce about meeting when Duncan tried to set them up with other people. James turns down a job offer, saying he wants to be with Roo full-time, but she sends him, saying she needs to think about it. In court, Bernice testifies that John fits the profile of a serial arsonist and Nate testifies about the brain tumour affecting his behaviour. The prosecutor provokes John into losing his temper on the stand. After a talking to from Hunter, VJ goes to court to speak on John's behalf, saying he's a good man who shouldn't go to jail. However, the jury finds him guilty on all counts and he is sentenced to fifteen years.—skteosk
- Hunter practically ignores Olivia's insistence to do the cleaning Irene explicitly doesn't ask for, goes for long swims and showers, finally finds her seeing lusty sense. James shows Roo she's top priority by turning down a press agency job to dine with her and reminisce how they met trough Duncan, yet grants her more time to think about commitment. Informed by Nate that his medical testimony about John's tumor affliction didn't outweigh a hostile psychiatrist's accountable psycho theory, Hunter finds VJ on the beach to plead he should act as crucial character witness, which he refuses, yet ends up doing just when Morag's defense it at its wit's end. Alas, the jury still rules 15 years.—KGF Vissers
