- Ryder tries to talk to Dean but he is busy with community service, where Willow tries to get him to talk about Karen and offers to go with him to see her. Afterwards, Dean tells Ryder about the hideout and a secret tunnel. He also tells Ryder to stop having a go at Leah. After Ben also talks to him, Ryder apologises but helps himself to supplies from the bait shop. Tori tries to confide in Mason but he brushes her off and she sends him home from work. She tries to get him not to let his experiences change him. Robbo talks to Meredith about his family and eventually admits Lauren tried to get him to spend more time with his family but he left after the argument and they were killed. However, when Tori comes round, she believes he is trying to replace his family and calls it off.—skteosk
- Dean turns up late for his first community service shift under slave driver Palmer, but works without backtalk unlike Willow, even volunteers to help out afterward at the surf club, unwilling to forget about visiting his mother as Willow suggests, but considers Colby and she are more of a family for him. Ryder decides, with Alf off, it's time to learn all about the haunted house from Dean and take the girls there, after telling off 'acting guardian' Leah suggesting VH left because of her bossing, apologizing at Ben's cue and stealing provision from the bait shop. Robbo returns to counselor Meredith, who makes him she his family issues are about guilt over his job dedication preventing him to save wife Lauren and their kids. Mason firmly refuses to listen to Tori's whining about their nonexistent baby, she tells Robbo he's not ready for parenthood again.—KGF Vissers
