It Simply Is What It Is.
28 November 2016 | by smcintyrefl407See all my reviews

If this is your first experience with Gilmore Girls, then you'll probably like this show. It's got an amazing cast, and characters you'll fall in love with before the end of the first scene. It's funny, charming, and highly addictive.

If you're a casual fan of the show then you'll love "A Year in the Life". You get to spend a few more hours in Stars Hollow, catch up with the characters you've been wondering about since the series ended, and have one more laugh/cry with a show you like. There's nothing at all wrong with that.

If you're a hardcore fan of Gilmore Girls then you're almost certainly going to hate this. But let's be honest, nothing was ever going to measure up to what we'd have wanted for these characters. This was never going to be the show we wanted it to be. So let's just enjoy this for what it is, some new Gilmore Girls content. Go into this expecting nothing more than that and you won't be disappointed.
