Director Bill Rebane is interviewed for this fifteen minute featurette, which takes a look at the making of THE GIANT SPIDER INVASION. Rebane starts off telling a story about making a film but pretty much giving up on it only to later discover that Herschell Gordon Lewis took the footage and turned it into MONSTER A GO-GO. From here the director talks about how he was able to finance THE GIANT SPIDER INVASION, get a cast and of course how the special effects were done. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking about this featurette but if you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly enjoy hearing these stories. The director is certainly interesting to listen to and manages to tell quite a few good stories and especially all the stuff dealing with the special effects. He goes into pretty good detail about how they were created and also gets into some information about the original box office of the film.
