Seems like the screenwriter, director & producer all could not agree on the movie they were making or the characters. At times it tries to be a crime drama. Other times a comedy, even referring to the movie itself (breaking the fourth wall) & its screenwriter. Even others wanting to be a romance. But it fails badly at all of them! The jokes are not funny. The crime drama is so fragmented is barely makes sense. And the romance seems like it was forced in. The characters are not consistent (in order to have a 80 minute story) which is probably the worst part. I would guess maybe a different screenwriter wrote each 20 minute segment it is so disjointed. The main character at one point is literally dodging bullets & catching flying knives in one scene. In another she can't fight off a teenage girl. Good characters are actually bad and in order to explain that, scenes are replayed later with different action or viewpoints. That means you can ignore most of the first hour when you get to the last 20 minutes. The story does not really end. I think there was supposed to be a "Buliang Nujing 2" but with this crap few people would bother with a Part 2. For English speaking viewers: The subtitles are also very poor. At times the translations are not accurate. I could have done better. Google Translate should have been more accurate. Sometimes incorrect english grammar is used further degrading the subtitles. Subtitles are white with no background which makes the subtitles unreadable at times against the scenes background. So if you need the subtitles it might be difficult to follow. I will not blame the cast as they were acceptable. But the script & direction or actually the movie itself is crap! Most movies you pick at random will be better than this turkey.

Cute girl in school uniform fighting bad guys? sign me in. heck, it does not even matter where the story goes. just seeing her in the screen alone is entertainment. the story ends with a cliffhanger but it doesnt look like they are going to make a sequel. many years have passed and still no progress. no news, no rumors, nothing. I wonder what happened.
