- Stephanie grumbles at Eric about the fashion event that Forrester will organize together with Spectra. She thinks it's a ploy, but Eric wants to give Sally the benefit of the doubt. Eric is rather dissatisfied with Clarke's latest designs. He thinks they are substandard and lacking attention. He suspects that his marriage troubles with Kristen are the cause of it. Clarke promises to do better. Moments later, Kristen also enters the office. Clarke is angry at her and says that they have nothing further to talk. Macy is at Mick Savage's. She wonders if Mick has already gotten over the girl for whom he came to L.A. They make love and Macy is determined to ensure that Mick will forget this unknown great love for the rest of his life. When the phone rings she does not know that it is Kristen, who was sniffing just before in a corner. Sally has a showdown with Stephanie on the deck of the Queen Mary. Sally's enthusiasm is strongly tempered by Stephanie. She furiously finds Sally a thief and a social climber, because she doesn't care a single bit about those poor children from the children's hospital. She says that the entire fashion event is of a three-ring circus quality and is determined to cancel Forrester's cooperation. Sally is left behind, baffled.—Henk Brugge
- Sally and Stephanie meet aboard the Queen Mary to discuss the fashion show and the Forrester Matriarch is highly displeased with Miss Spectra's ideas for it. Sally admits that she wants to win Stephanie's respect. Still, Stephanie announces to a shocked Sally that Forrester will drop out of the charity event. Eric tells Clarke that his work has been disappointing. Clarke is relieved when Eric attributes this to his marital problems and not his double workload. Then, Eric introduces Kristen to his office who tries to talk to Clarke, but he continues to be miffed that she lied about Mick. Kristen begins to lose patience with her husband as well. Meanwhile, Macy visits Mick at his hotel. Claiming that he wants to get over her, Mick acknowledges his feelings for the other woman. Macy seduces Mick and they make love.—Torsten B. Tomaschek
