FRAME OF MIND
Essay-Kun22 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, I understood the intention.

The writers wanted us, viewers, to feel the conditions mike's gonna go through.

I mean I felt nervous the same way he did during the first day.

And the 2nd day it's a bit relaxed and trying to come to terms with that vultures want blood.

Nothing comes of easy , it's always the thing b/w trust and mistrust .

Jessica's gesture to Jack soloff was a great statement in the making .

And Harvey's memory , I'm sure he'll get it back .

Let's Get Back to New York

I'm going to say that the Mike in Prison thing is dull. As is the series of efforts to put the firm back together. I don't know. Harvey goes around ranting and not listening to anyone. Louis is off his rocker and trying to intimidate people. There is so much shouting and carrying on. Now they need to rent out space in order to recoup some money to keep going. Mike continues to run things any way he wants inside the prison. He can walk in on the warden. He can direct who gets to do what. Even if the guards weren't corrupt, his actions would be squelched. Then Rachel is out there doing the same thing. I'm sorry but when she throws her weight around it seems so ridiculous.

Stronger than the Premiere
kettwolverine21 July 2016
Overall I think this was a great episode, we got to see Harvey destroying people like he used to, but also to delve even deeper in to his past with the great tie in to the painting which has funnily enough been in Harvey's office since the start of the show. the scene outside the prison with Harvey and Frank was truly thrilling and gave us a reminder that Harvey can still be a bad ass. Additionally, Rachel was less whiny this episode which was a good thing and Donna wasn't annoying like she was in Episode 1. the Counsellor as a character is really growing on me as he helps to even out the show. finally, I am so glad they have stopped with the Harvey vs. Louis dispute, it was starting to wear thin. All in all, it was a great episode

Now the ghosts of the past are here ...to collect.
rinbizorg9 August 2021
Its funny that the writers decided this season to be the "house of cards" for Harvey .....yep the mighty Harvey.

Ghosts of his dirty deeds done in the past are here....to collect.

And I guess they won't stop until the end of this season to ask for a pound of flesh.....from the mighty Harvey.

A mistake
gary-32028 July 2016
Jessica tells Jack Soloff that the firm is really an LLC. An LLC is very popular, but law firms are not allowed to be an LLC. Most law firms these days are formed as an LLP. The payment issue that Jessica claims would prevent her from paying him out of her pocket wouldn't exist anyway because she could put the money into the LLC/LLP for the firm to pay Jack Soloff.

The episode is more about the people of the Pearson Spector Litt other than the practice of law.

Harvey shows his vulnerable side much more than usual in this episode. A viewer usually knows the end result of an episode but this one is more of a trip down an unknown path.

Not as good as the previous seasons
feeneyorama4 November 2017
I feel there is something off in this season. The writing just isn't as good as the previous five seasons.

Someone should start a drinking game where you toss back a drink every time anyone says "I don't give a sh--" and take another drink anytime someone says "What did you just say to me?" I have lost count of how many times these two phrases have been used.

It doesn't seem plausible that the three named partners would be so lost at the beginning of this series. Surely they would have known that every case Mike touched would be tainted and liable to be litigated.

The prison scenes don't seem all that realistic either. How did Gallo get to be allowed outside and to be at the fence when Harvey was leaving the prison?

Donna has always been full of herself but she is gradually becoming worse and completely unlikeable. She is just Harvey's assistant, not a lawyer or even a paralegal yet she always seems to think she is the smartest person in the room.

Jessica and Donna must both have homes with whole rooms set aside just for their clothes. They never wear the same outfit twice. It doesn't seem possible that Donna would earn enough money to have all those clothes. At least Rachel has worn the same blouse a couple of times and her clothes seem way more appropriate for an office than what the other two wear.

I loved the first five seasons of this show but sadly, I think it has jumped the shark. What a shame.

Warning: Spoilers
Donna referred to herself as black in front of 2 black women?

I can't believe they even forced Gretchen to say "You're black all over the place" to a white one.

I'm crying, this is so cringe.

Too Angry...
salts785 April 2017
I love suits and have been a long time watcher. But the recent few episodes are way to angry for my liking. There isn't a single scene in this episode when somebody isn't yelling at somebody else.

Made worse, that any scene Mike is in is just anger, anger, anger.

Makes it hard to enjoy!

Where are the bits of humor and quality banter gone that made this series a winner!
