Mugshots: Michael Skakel - A Killing in Greenwich (2001)
The murder of Martha Moxley made headlines for decades. The 15- year-old was brutally murdered and the two suspects were from the Skakel family, one of the richest families in a very rich part of Conneticuit. It should also be noted that they are related to the Kennedy family and this is the reason many believe that charges were never brought against anyone. That all changed when Dominick Dunne wrote a fictional account of the story and then years later Mark Fuhrman wrote an account and named a suspect.
Fans of the series will be happy to know that this here is another winning episode as it features interviews with Skakel's attorney, Moxley's mother as well as both Dunne and Fuhrman. The documentary features a lot of great interviews that give you a clear picture of what possibly happened that night and why the "rich family" might have gotten away with it due to their status in the community. Even though this lasts just under fifty minutes there's a lot of great stuff on here leading to a highly entertaining show.
