In the same roles and activities as previous episodes of Bones. All reference to the team in this synopsis relate to any member of the team who may be cast in the created scenes by the script writers.
The decomposed body of an unknown male is found by local police officer during their search for a missing person at the location of the old coking station. The remains are handed to the team after they called in when police officers suspect foul play as the found body was discovered in attempt to hide the victims fate by someone or persons trying to cover their tracks.
Distant Flashback - The opening scene plays in with a thirties blues track and depict a group steam train blues hobo's joking and playing music and dice, and discussing taking the trip north to see if they can make it big in the music industry in Chicago.
Present - After examination of the remains and artefacts found at the scene it is confirmed that the victim had suffered a concussed blow to various parts of his body during an attack or fight and had been placed in it's location by someone or persons and left to die. Further examination reviles that the victim played a musical harmonica as his bone structure shows the traits of a musician after it's use.
Distant Flashback - Various scence depict blues musician practising and playing instruments with harmonic players creating memorising solos to blues songs of the twenties and thirties.
Present, Distant Flashback - While further investigation of the the crime scene is undertaken evidence and research of the Coking Station sends the team tracing the history of train movements in an era of steam locomotion across the United States in search of the victims origin and reasons for being in the location of their death.
Present - Back at the teams lab dental examination and DNA analyst confirm the origin of the victim and an analysing of stomach and rectum remain locate the trace elements in gestural residue of the victim allow a pin pointing of the vicims locality.
Present, Distant Flashback - After a charting and review of their findings the team leave on a investigation trip down the Mississippi river that ends in Louisiana where their search for their missing clues are culminated in the history of the blues.
Present, Distant and Present Flashbacks - Discovery of the victims past and stories of events through history are pieced together by the team with the help of local policing authorities and members of the blues community who enact with song and rhythm as they explain the teams evidence and provide the key to the investigation.
